Today I want to talk to you about something that although it is simple, it can be interesting for someone, and it is that normally we see the photos and we don't think about how much it cost to take that shot or what it was necessary to do post production and that's what I will talk about today, I hope you liked it 馃槈.
Hola, gente de internet. Hoy quiero hablarles de algo que aunque es simple, a alguien le puede resultar interesante, y es que normalmente vemos las fotos y no pensamos que tanto cost贸 hacer esa toma o que hab铆a que hacerle post producci贸n, as铆 que de eso les hablar茅 hoy, espero que les guste 馃槈.
For example, I had a hard time taking these photos against the light because I couldn't see the screen of the cell due to the reflection of the sunlight, so I couldn't frame them to my liking, besides, my intention was that the lens of the camera would take the sun rays but as I couldn't see the screen that was a challenge.
Por ejemplo, estas fotos a contra luz me cost贸 mucho hacerlas, ya que no lograba ver la pantalla del cel por el reflejo de la luz del sol, as铆 que no pod铆a encuadrar a gusto, adem谩s mi intenci贸n era que el lente de la c谩mara tomara los rayos del sol, pero como no pod铆a ver la pantalla eso fue todo un reto.
Once I got the shots I wanted (after many attempts) then I had to edit the photos, in this case, because of the shot, the colour palette is monochromatic, so I only worked on lights and shadows using the curves, levels and exposure tools in Photoshop.
Una vez que logr茅 las tomas que quer铆a (despu茅s de muchos intentos) pues ten铆a que editar las fotos, en este caso, por causa del plano, la paleta de colores es monocrom谩tica, as铆 que solo trabaj茅 luces y sombras utilizando las herramientas de curvas, niveles y exposici贸n en Photoshop.
In the case of this photo, I asked my cousin to take it, but after making the framing myself and telling her where to stand and at what height to leave the phone. Posing in that position was quite a challenge as all the light was on my face and made my eyes water, in this case I also worked on the light and shadows as well as the intensity.
En el caso de esta foto, le ped铆 a mi prima que la hiciera, pero despu茅s de hacer yo misma el encuadre y decirle donde deb铆a pararse y a que altura dejar el tel茅fono. Posar en esa posici贸n fue todo un reto ya que toda la luz estaba sobre mi cara y hac铆a que mis ojos lagrimearan, en este caso tambi茅n trabaje luces y sombras adem谩s de la intensidad.
Taking pictures in crowded places is stressful because of course you're not going to tell everyone to get out of your frame and it doesn't really matter if there are people in the background, as long as you don't lose the protagonism, so I had to place the camera almost centrally behind me and put myself right in the middle. In the editing I turned up the lighting a bit as the room was already dark.
Hacer fotos en lugares concurridos es estresante ya que claro est谩 no vas a decirle a todo el mundo que salga de tu encuadre, y la verdad no importa si hay gente de fondo en las fotograf铆as, pero eso siempre que no pierdas protagonismo, para eso tuve que situar la c谩mara casi de forma central detr谩s de mi y ponerme justo al medio. En la edici贸n le sub铆 un poco a la iluminaci贸n ya que de por si la habitaci贸n era oscura.
Pictures on cloudy or rainy days look very nice, of course they do, but they are complicated to take as the lighting is not the best, the ground can be slippery and the cold can be immense. Bogot谩 is a pretty cold city and it gets even colder when it rains, so taking these photos was a challenge, but they turned out well. In editing I readjusted the lights and shadows and also the intensity.
Las fotos en d铆as nublados o lluviosos salen muy bonitas, claro que s铆, pero son complicadas de tomar ya que la iluminaci贸n no es la mejor, el piso puede estar resbaloso sin contar con el frio inmenso. Bogot谩 es una ciudad bastante fr铆a y se pone a煤n m谩s fr铆a cuando llueve, as铆 que hacer esas fotos fue todo un reto, sin embargo quedaron bien. En edici贸n reajust茅 las luces y sombras y tambi茅n la intensidad.
The photos of streets have an obvious complication, the passage of cars, so I had to look for a street that was not so crowded, that had a good aesthetic and that didn't have so many trees, so as not to lose light. In editing I worked on the lighting and the intensity of the colours.
La fotos de calles tienen una complicaci贸n obvia, el paso de los autos, as铆 que ten铆a que buscar una calle que no fuese tan concurrida, que tuviese una buena est茅tica y que no tuviese tantos 谩rboles para no perder luz. En edici贸n trabaj茅 la iluminaci贸n y la intensidad de colores.
Regarding this photo, it looks quite autumnal and I look quite relaxed in the photo, however, there were a lot of ants and bugs in the leaves that either walked on me or stung me, hahaha 馃ぃ. I had to take it out several times because it was out of frame, and as I took it with a timer, I had to run out to pose, in the end I was happy with the result. For the editing, I adjusted the lighting and colour intensity.
Con respecto a esta foto, se ve bastante oto帽al y se me ve bastante relajada en la foto, sin embargo, hab铆an muchos bachacos y bichitos en las hojas que o caminaban sobre m铆 o me picaban, hahaha 馃ぃ. Tuve que sacarla varias veces porque sal铆a fuera de cuadro, y como la tom茅 con temporizador, ten铆a que salir corriendo a posar, al final qued茅 contenta con el resultado. Para la edici贸n, ajust茅 la iluminaci贸n y la intensidad de colores.
As you can see it is not so easy to take pictures, but for those of us who enjoy modelling or taking pictures, those setbacks don't matter. Which picture did you have the hardest time taking?
