Things that can be improved in my town

There are many things i would like to be improved in my town and it has to do with social amenities. Social amenities is so important in the community because life of people depends on it. It is observed that the life expectancy of individuals living in a particular political system depend on the availability of social amenities which accounts for quality of life of citizens. Social amenities include good roads, functional electricity, safe drinking water,sustainable health care, functional and affordable education, security.

In my town, the major roads are so bad that it is no longer accessible. Road transporters take auxiliary or minor streets to get to their destination, as a result, transport fare is costly and it takes longer time for one to get to his destination. Petty traders that cannot afford transport fare to and from their business areas has suffered many injuries because of bad road. Some has broken knees, arms and other sever injuries. Many on the other hand has lost their lives because they could not meet up with emergency situation. For example, when a person become sick in the night, it's either the family cannot afford to pay for the higher amount a transporter would charge or the transporter would decline offering help to take the sick person to hospital. Perhaps, after considering the stress of passing through minor bad road, the distance and the risk, he may tend to decline the offer.

Another thing we would like to experience improvement upon is security: my town is filled with touts, hoodlums. Because bad road makes it almost impossible for security personnel to have access to, touts are everywhere with bunks everywhere too . Can you imagine that there is security risk even in the daytime in my town? Just to imagine the severity. Sometimes, when people leave for work or their daily businesses, by the time they come back in The evening, properties in their houses are vanished, nowhere to be found.
Another problem in my town is on the area of education: there are many public schools are available, but poor quality education. First, the buildings are dilapidated, teachers are not paid as at when due, hence, they develop non-challant attitude towards teaching. They regularly go on strike or go on protest to agitate for not being paid. It may take months before they will be called back to work, hence the poor academic performance in pupils and students.
