How do I get into the Darknet? Online you can find much talking about the "Darknet": a "secret" Internet, where criminals can get anything illegal against Bitcoin, from weapons to drugs to obscure pornography. However, the Darknet has more than just the downside: Since it escapes state control, it is above all a source of independent information in systems with high censorship. I want to show you how to get in.
First you need an "access software", a kind of Darknet browser for the shadows of the internet. Because it runs in the Tor network, it makes sense to contact this network. The easiest way to do this is with the Tor browser, which you can use for anonymous surfing without Darknet. First load the browser in the language and system version that suits you from the Tor website free of charge and then install it on your system.
Now you can start the Tor browser, which serves as Deep Web browser. At the first start you'll be asked you if you can connect directly or if you have to set proxies. For normal private Internet connections, it is usually sufficient to click on "Connect". The Tor browser connects to the Tor network and you can now surf the Internet anonymously with it. Access to the "Darknet" is the side effect of this anonymous surfing: The websites are located within the Tor network on servers and cannot be reached via the "normal" Internet.
But how do I get into the Darknet now? This requires knowledge of special domains with the ending ".onion". These websites are the dark side of the Internet. A good starting point is the "Hidden Wiki" (zqktlwi4fecvo6ri.onion). It lists a number of links under which you can find the information you are looking for. Torlinks or the Onion-Wiki are also Darknet homepages with links to other "dark" pages. There you will find a lot of interesting information. And if you really want to experiment, there is something like the "ultimate Darknet index". A practical thing is that the Tor browser seamlessly switches between Darknet and "normal" Internet.
Whoever dares to venture onto the dark side, however, is particularly at risk: In the Darknet there are of course countless strange people on the way, which use the uncontrollable space to drive mischief or to enrich themselves. This means that you should follow the same rules as in the Hidden Web, even in shady areas of reality, to avoid falling into a trap of any kind. Very important: Avoid giving personal data - even if the offer is tempting.
