FredoTools is the best plugin for Sketchup with lots of functions inside.
I'm a civil engineer with specialization on energy management. Heat losses of the building etc. is my daily bread. With this plugin it is a piece of cake to count heat losses. Just model the building, with windows doors etc use the plugin called "Report on areas". And you almost get it done.
Other very useful function is:

• Edge inspector
• Divide edges
• Remove lonely vertices
