After not being able to put my topic choice together last week, I've come back to the #WeekendExperiences community to partake in the #weekend-engagement initiative. As you now, our beloved G-dog is always going us some food for thought in these topics.
My choice for today is what would happen I had the chance to become:
- An Australian Citizen.
I hope this idea of being an Aussie for a weekend means that, at least, I get a ticket to go to Australia. It would be awesome. Being a citizen would be the best. There wouldn't be any visa request nor trips to the embassy besides going for my passport. But I believe that becoming one means I'd be teleported instantly to the big isle a lot of people confuse for a continent.
Once on my way back (or forth) to my homeland, I expected to be greeted by the G-dog. I think he would be a great mentor to learn all things Aussie. Call it an Australian 101 Crash Course: How to become an Aussie and not die trying.
This course would go over really important things like:
How to avoid getting killed by venomous animals or any other of the 12000+ kind of threats that could kill you over there.
Which beer you should never buy at a bar unless you want to ruin you rep.
How to eat Veginite properly (this one was edited because I know nothing about Aussie spreadable food. Thanks, G-dog for the correction).
How to escape the grip of a Drop Bear.
The common social etiquette. However, I believe Australians are somewhat loose in social etiquette.
By far the most important experience would be to spent time with my favorite Aussie Hiver and getting to know the rest of the awesome people that create content for our beloved web3 platform.
I'm also pretty sure that if I had the chance to go over there, there would be a party to celebrate the end of the suffering in my homeland. A Bertrayo' Freedom Fest. It could also be a Hive event so all thske awesome Hivers from aroudn the world could come to Australia and I would finally meet them.
But that weekend couldn't end without going to some of the sights that are landmarks of such a beautiful country. I want to visit the natural wonders if Australia.
This for sure makes me wonder if I'd be deported once my citizenship experies on Sunday. Or would I be able to pleas my case and receive a provisional citizenship. I mean I love to avoid political correctness. That's a requisite to be Australian, isn't it?
That's been all from me. See you in the comment section.
