Today in the morning I was praying and meditating on the Word and the Lord spoke a lot to my heart.
I was meditating on a word well known to all: Matthew 2, where he speaks, among other things, in the sight of the Magi to Jesus.
But what caught my attention in this text as it is known in verses 6, 15, 18:23.
"And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judea: for thus is it written by the prophet: And thou, Bethlehem, the land of Judah, by no means is thou less among the capitals of Judah: for a guide shall come forth who shall be the pastor of my people Israel "Mt 2,5 and 6
"And he was there until the death of Herod: that the saying of the Lord might be fulfilled through the prophet, saying," Out of Egypt I called my son. "Matthew 02:15
"Then it was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet Jeremiah, saying, 'In Ramah there he heard a voice, weeping, weeping and great lamentation, it is Rachel who cries to her children, and did not want to be comforted because they no longer exist.' Mt 17:18 2
"And he came, and dwelt in a city called Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled which had been spoken by the prophets: He shall be called a Nazarene." Mt 2. 23
It is beautiful to see the concern that God has in always confirming everything that speaks to us and more, it is wonderful to see the fidelity of the Lord in the lives of all of us. If you meditate in that chapter you will perceive so many things that, apparently, took a course contrary to the natural and that, for men, could be wrong.
For example, would not Jesus be much easier to be born in Bethlehem and stay there, if he believes? Or would it not be better if the wise men returned, talked with King Herod, or who knows it would be better if there were no persecution of children up to two years of age?
To natural eyes who knows how to be, but God knows all things. In truth, God has a beautiful life for all of us if we stand firm in His presence.
Who caught my attention in this whole story was José! Think of a man in communion with God! I believe that neither He knew what He was doing or where He was going, but it was OBEDIENT! In several moments we see that the angels of the Lord came to speak with him and guide him, that is, Joseph had communion with God to hear him and fear to obey him.
I think it's about the beginning of a life with Jesus: Communion, Fear and Obedience!
Once I heard a phrase that is the purest truth: "Do not worry about the plots of the account, but with the final result, the plots and how they add up, multiplied, in short, they remain on God's account." Do not want to understand what God is doing, just Trust!
Sometimes we do not understand why we are going through such a situation, but who knows, Joseph did not know exactly why he would have to go to Nazareth. He simply obeyed because it was the perfect will of God.
"I never forgot something that God used the mouth of the state leader of the IIGD here in Paraná, Pr Daner, to speak at a retreat last year:" You can imagine God stopping to 'plan' and 'project' all his life before he even of you being born? "Dear, whoever planned his life and who created you was not just anyone ... He was the creator of heaven, earth, the universe ... It was God, the Lord of lords, can you understand this? He wants to see you live all that He has prepared for you.
Hallelujah!
It is difficult to understand, many times, the "zigzags" of life! But something is true: being in communion we will be in the wise direction of the Father!
Let us then live to please our God, always having in our hearts the three principles: Communion, Fear and Obedience!
God bless you and we are going to win that Inconverso for Jesus.
