If I may respond to your thoughtful expression..... Perhaps it could be said in today's world...most everthing is presented in relative terms....leaving mankind without absolutes....without perimeters.....therefore the thinking for the most part is not in terms of absolutes. One sphere still left to us would be Maths.....yet it is absolutes that define our very existance.

If one believes the Bible is the absolute truth....then one has a guide for life and how to live it.

Christ Jesus is quoted many times in the New Testament giving a guide lines with regard to how to live one's life.

.....Jesus said...I am the way, the truth and the life...no man comes to the Father, but through Me. John 14.6

That sounds absolute.....our decision with regard to Christ, whether one rejects and accepts Him determines our eternal future.

For you see, God loved the world (mankind) so much, that He sent His uniquely born Son, so that anyone who believes in Him shall never perish but have eternal life. John 3.16

It is faith alone in Christ alone for salvation.
