Talking about self esteem, many would say it is the way one carries oneself as to earn respect, but there is more to this.
Self esteem has a lot to do with our idiosyncrasy, and to earn our self esteem,we have to adjust our way of life starting from the way we dress,it is believed we would be addressed by the way we dress, though its not elementary to judge a book by its cover but when it has to do with self esteem,we first look out for your outward presentation before we give a chance to what you have to offer from the inside
The way we react to situations can also upgrade or downgrade our self esteem, without taking sides and being partial or unjust,we should endeavor to apply the scientific method of solving problems at all times.
Telling lies is one easy way you can lose your self esteem, nothing you say would be taken seriously and and no one would entrust anything to,as much as telling "white lies" is a part of our everyday routine either to get us out of trouble or to earn a favour,we should also consider the implications of this lies and realize that what we have been working so hard to build could go down with just one untold truth.,also having at the back of our lymbic system that a liar remains a liar no matter how hard he tries to conceal it with his smart outfit.
Selfishness is another way one can lose his/her self esteem, when you are selfish, you are more likely to be vulnerable to gullibility, and when that happens, no one would want to partner with you or even entrust anything to your care for fear of loosing it.
Coming to a conclusion,I believe if we can minimise our lies, dress well, discourage injustice and have a satisfactory heart,we can be called "the man with a high self esteem.
