Its the first day of the 2nd half of the year and I believe aside myself, my fellow steemians have reasons to be thankful for the gift of life and that of our contingents.
Just as we are thankful to our supreme creator for life,we owe to ourselves as a duty to show appreciation to each other. It might be a simple "thank you",but it goes a long way in conveying the message that we are grateful in whatever Favour we obtained
Aside conveying the message of just how grateful you are,when you are thankful, you encourage people to help you more and even want to go out of their circle just to help you whenever need be.
Christians can take an insight from the 10 lepers Jesus healed..but only one out of them that were healed deemed it necessary to come back and show appreciation... This simple act of appreciation uplifted the spirit of Jesus Christ and He couldn't resist blessing the ex leper.
We might be recieving a whole lot of help here on this platform,through curation,upvotes and featuring of posts but we lack a thankful heart perhaps because of our gullible search for rewards,we forget to do that which attracts rewards.
As we begin this second half of the year,I implore us all to inculcate a cheerful and thankul heart in whatever we do,we might not get what we want but showing appreciation for what we havr can earn us even more than we deserve..
