Last weeks have been pretty hectic with us getting sick one after another and then last week we also had to spend some days in hostpital for our youngest son. Luckily, today I have found a bit of time to continue coding for SteemTurbine and Steemify. Although I would rather go for a run right now with this weather!

Today I'm focussing on finishing my own version of a Python client for Steemd. The official steem-python library is what I used for both the Steemify server and VoteBot, with some modifications to make it more reliable. The reason for creating a custom client, is that I only require some of the low-level functions and the current steem-python library is under heavy development. While this is good for improving the long-term usability and reliability, I require a more stable codebase for use in production for SteemTurbine. Ofcourse this will be released as Open-Source on utopian/github for everybody to use.
