Lately I have been ramping up my job search, with a hopes to find the right company for me. I don't hate, nor love my current job. I just want to be able to actually live independently.
After serving tables through college with the odd internship, I went and got into the tech sector. After a few years, here are some of the things I have noticed.
#TechSectorObservations
1.No one cares about the little guy
2. You're just the universal soldier making sure everything is functioning properly, and scheduled.
3.You're significantly underpaid for the amount of effort and dedication you put in.
4. It might as well be a 24/7 job when you are working with international clients as well as local clients.
5. Studying for certifications is life. I can't see anyway around this one.
6. You all the sudden try and spend every second hiking, eating, or sleeping that you are not at work.
7. You get fat, because you never have time to go hiking
