I really learn something about gardening from your blog every time! I had no idea that these drip trays could be bad for the health of the plant (and soil!). I think that we mostly have them on the indoor plants, so we can be a bit careful with the amount of water that goes into the pots... we don't have any outdoor plants in pots... so I think we are safe!
