People always say dogs and cats are natural enemies. But in my house, it's the opposite.
My beagle wears his funny egg-shaped collar, looking sleepy but always gentle. Right beside him lies my fluffy cat with her little lace collar, pretending to be annoyed but never leaving his side.
They grew up together. They play, they nap on the same pillow, they share everything. When my dog eats, my cat comes close and he never gets angry. No growling, no fighting. Just patience.
Watching them reminds me that friendship doesn't need same language, same breed, or same attitude. It just needs trust and kindness.
They are not just pets. They are family. And they teach me everyday what real best friends look like. I am truly lucky to have them both in my life.
