Jesus taught us about true friendship when he was with his disciples and in his teachings were written the true friendship, when he tells us that if we want to be friends of Jesus we must do what he commands and the commandment greater than the I leave for humanity is to love God and our neighbor. Forgiving the faults and blessing even our enemies.
This is my commandment: That you love one another, as I have

Friendship is the relationship that exists between two or several people of whom you have a personal affection without any interest, where you can see understanding, trust, fidelity and honesty. In the bible he explains that a friend is more than a brother.

Love
as John says: "No one has greater love than this, that one lay down his life for his friends."
This teaching of love Jesus left us when he also entrust his life for all, to fulfill the word that He taught us without expecting anything in return, being a sincere friendship and with dedication. He also wants us to make friends.
He commands us to practice true friendship making good friends since we need each other to grow as people, to learn, and to correct, to move forward together. Because in the union is the strength. We can see an example of a great friendship of David and Jonathan, so great was the friendship of these servants of God who swore to be friends forever and their offspring would last for centuries of both, Jesus taught us about friendship when he said to his disciples: "I will no longer call you servants but friends because the servant knows nothing what his master does but the friends know everything".
