MONTEROSSO AL MARE WITH A VIDEO!

HOLA HIVE! (3).png

Hello everybody!! This is my first post in the community Have you been here. And today, I bring you here...

MONTEROSSO AL MARE

Take a look at the post here and at the video at the end!!

I'm new on Hive, and I'm very excited!! First of all, I will share here my presentation, it's in Spanish but I will paste it anyway, and introduce myself into this community once again pretty fast.

My introduction post in Spanish

To be concrete right now and not to spend many words presenting myself, currently, I'm proud to say that I'm a nomad. I have been traveling for 6 months, I know that for many of you this is not too much, but the truth is that for what my life was before, to me this is a big step in my life towards my self-realization.

My name is Belén and I have been, inthis 6 months in France (Marseille, Nice), Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Canet de Fals), Germany (Hannover, Berlin), Italy (Bevagna, Rome, Terni, Peruggia, Assisi, Misano Adriático, Rímini, Bologna, Genova). My first solo trip was in 2018 to New York City, and then I traveled for a month to Europe in 2019.

In 2021 I decided to emigrate, and I would love to build my life on the road, at least for a while. That's why I'm trying to figure out how to monetize my content.

A travel blog built on Hive, seems very fun to me, and I know I could share many many travel tips and landscapes with you.

I am also a Yoga Teacher and a Geographer (my title is in Spain with a friend, but I'm more a Geographer now than I was before).

Monterosso al Mare

This place in unbelievable!

Today I'm going to talk about a beach that is part of Cinque Terre. This is a natural area protected and considered as World Heritage by UNESCO.

As the word said, It's formed by 5 lands, 5 stunning landscapes.

I would like to present you the first of them: Monterosso al mare

The incredible beach with the cutes colored houses.

I got the code for Pinmaple and I pasted it here, but for some reason I can't see it. As this is my first time doing this, I wish I have done properly.

This is an amazing beach that could be full of people during summertime. I visited this place a few days ago, and now we are in February. But guess what... IT WAS AMAZING EVEN IN WINTER.

The beach was there for me and my friends, inviting us to see it. The water is so blue that your eyes can't believe what they are looking at, and the camera can't captivate the exact colors.

It's really a MUST!

It's another world, it's a natural parallel world where you can go inside and be part for at least some hours.

It's winter but the weather wasn't cold at all. For you to check it, I even could enjoy the water a little bit.

How to get there?

We decided to take the train.

You can visit Monterroso al Mare from la Spezia or frm Genova. I'm in Genova right now, so I took the train from here. From Genova Brignole (the train station in the middle of the city), you have to buy a ticket by phone or at the train station to Monterosso al Mare. It costs 7 to 12 euros, depending on how fast the train is.

You can be there in 1 hour or in 1:30 hours more or less.

We took the train at 7:56 am, and in about an hour we were going crazy with the beach.

To have in mind

As Cinque Terre is a group of 5 little towns, there is a Cinque Terre pass that you can buy, but you can do it once in Monterosso al are. It will allow you to move from beach to beach by train, and use the bathrooms.

Anyway, each train (from beach to beach), costs 2, 50 Euros.

We decided to have a coffee on the Train Station.

Something interesting...

You can walk over the beach through the entire Cinque Terre, but now only one section is open nowadays. o maybe in summer, if you are planning to visit this area, you will have luck and all the sector could be ready for you to visit it by walking.

Monterosso al Mare is in front of the Liguria Sea, which is part of the Mediterranean Sea. This area used to live thanks to the fishing, but now tourism is a very strong part of its economy.

A lot of people visit this place, and you will hear that is better to come here in summer, but I can say that is a beautiful place all year long.

In summer for sure, you'll be able to swim, but it's gonna be full of people. I had the blessing of visiting it almost empty.
