Hello my friends from Black and White Community and the Hive platform, it's a pleasure to be with you once again in this #monomad challenge. Today I come to share with you one of my dreams come true: a ride on the Thames.

The truth is that when I was in London I thought a lot about whether to do this or not, because if I remember correctly, it had a cost of about €20, which seemed quite a lot, and although it was worth the cost for the beauty of the tour, my trip was just beginning. After much thought, almost at the end of my days in the magical English city, I finally decided to take that boat.

Hola mis amigos de Black and White Community y de la plataforma de Hive, es un placer estar con ustedes una vez más en este #monomad challenge. Hoy vengo a compartir con ustedes uno de mis sueños hechos realidad: un paseo por el Támesis.

La verdad es que cuando estuve en Londres pensé bastante en si hacer esto o no, porque si mal no recuerdo, tenía un costo de alrededor de €20, lo cual me parecía bastante, y aunque valía el costo por la belleza del recorrido, mi viaje recién empezaba. Después de pensarlo mucho, casi al final de mis días en la mágica ciudad inglesa, decidí finalmente tomar aquel barco.

It was a beautiful experience, the walk lasted about an hour and the perspective from the River Thames is very different sailing on it than walking on its banks.

Although it started to rain at that time, the experience was beautiful. The boat offered a roofed space, which I resisted until the rain was too heavy to keep me in the uncovered area. You can see a picture of it, where you can see some booties on a glass, that's the reason why I didn't take more pictures from inside, haha. It was a bit surprising the rain and at the same time not, because by that time I was used to the London weather. And the thing is that from being sunny, in a moment it starts to get cloudy in a very discriminating way and then, comes a little intense breeze and that's it, the rain has arrived. This can happen many times in the same day, and that moment was one of them.

Fue una experiencia hermosa, el paseo duró alrededor de una hora y la perspectiva desde el Río Támesis es muy diferente navegando en él que caminando en sus márgenes.

Aunque empezó a llover en aquel momento, la experiencia fue bellísima. La embarcación ofrecía un espacio techado, al cual me resistí hasta que la lluvia fue demasiado intensa como mantenerme en la zona descubierta. Pueden ver una imagen de ello, en donde observarán unas botitas en un vidrio, esa es la muestra de por qué no saqué más fotos desde dentro, jaja. Fue un poco sorprendente la lluvia y al mismo tiempo no, pues para aquel entonces ya me había acostumbrado al clima londinense. Y es que de estar soleado, en un momento se empieza a nublar de manera muy discriminada y luego, viene una brisa un poco intensa y listo, la lluvia ha llegado. Esto puede pasar muchas veces en un mismo día, y aquel momento fue uno de ellos.

Likewise, the panorama of The London Eye from there is particularly special, as the water spreads out before your eyes and then, the huge wheel rises into the sky, with the city in the background.

Also, despite the rain, after being under cover for a few minutes, I returned to the deck when the weather calmed down, and was able to enjoy one of the most beautiful images I have seen while traveling, and that is London Bridge from the river.

I have always loved how you see everything from the sea, or the great lakes that show mountains or cities behind, as the water becomes the surface that stretches out before your eyes as if it were infinity, and then something appears that cuts through it. This is what you experience when you see the bridge behind.

Igualmente, el panorama de The London Eye desde ahí es particularmente especial, ya que el agua se extiende ante tus ojos y luego, la enorme rueda se eleva hacia el cielo, con la ciudad de fondo.

Además, a pesar de la lluvia, luego de estar unos minutos bajo techo, regresé a cubierta cuando se calmó el tiempo, y pude disfrutar de una de las imágenes más hermosas que he visto viajando, y se trata del Puente de Londres desde el río.

Siempre he amado cómo se ve todo desde el mar, o los grandes lagos que detrás muestran montañas o ciudades, pues el agua pasa a ser la superficie que se extiende ante tus ojos como si se tratase del infinito, y luego aparece algo que corta con ello. Esto es lo que se vive cuando ves el puente detrás.
