It wasn't but the last ten minutes of this film that truly filled me with sadness, melancholy, nostalgia and even helplessness.

Emergencia en el aire was in the number 10 spot on Netflix. Many people think that when movies are at the bottom of a billboard it is because it has been seen frequently but not so much anymore, while others think they are the least seen.

I tend to watch the films that rank at the top because my perception is that they are the best. However, Emergencia en el aire caught my attention and for that reason I decided to see it.

Emergency in the Air is a Korean film released in 2022. According to what I could read, this film gained the audience's attention and caught on to a great extent. That is to say, it was successful.

Let me tell you something, for me it was not a film that caused a sensation. My impression is probably due to the subject matter. There are many films arguing this type of content and I particularly think it is trite.

Already from the beginning I made inferences and accurate anticipation for this reason I feel that I was losing motivation. In addition to all this experience, I believe that the recent situation with Covid-19 was also the excuse for my pre-disposition. Still, I watched the movie until the end.

When I saw the main post of the movie I thought it was about a sinister in the air. I didn't read the prologue so as not to contaminate myself, had I done so and known it was about a virus, I assure you I would not have seen it.

Now, the fact that I didn't like it doesn't mean it's a bad movie. I don't think so. It's a well structured film and the characters are top notch. The suspense grips the viewer at times. Especially when there is a little girl in the middle of the drama.

It is curious, in these contents the characteristics of the plot do not vary, there is always a crazy terrorist, a superhero with skills to manipulate any device, in this case the plane, there is always a doctor on board and people who can easily respond to an emergency situation.

I insist, these are things that personally disappoint me when I watch a movie because everything revolves around this situation.
In Emergency in the Air, a resentful scientist creates a virus and decides to embed it in a part of his body to activate it on a commercial airliner. The bitter, angry and frustrated man decides to take any flight with as many passengers as possible to carry out his mission.

The scientist's macabre idea was spread through a social network and mother forward is discovered by a little girl. She is warned by the terrorist that everyone on the plane will die. The girl tells the story to her father and he in turn informs the authorities when he manages to associate the man on the network with his traveling companion but no one believes him.

The terrorist soon spreads the virus inside the plane and from there begins all the drama and despair of the Korean crew and authorities.

The ending is the real drama. Tears came to my eyes when the crew members decided not to land the plane so as not to infect their families. Each passenger, through a video call, said goodbye to their families, asked for forgiveness, remembered moments, gave thanks... it was a very strong farewell.

In that final moment the memories in me were resolved. The sadness became present.

I give this movie 5 🌟, it's not bad but it's not among my favorites.

No fueron sino los últimos diez minutos de esta película las que verdaderamente me llenaron de tristeza, melancolía, nostalgia y hasta impotencia.

Emergencia en el aire ocupaba el puesto número 10 en la cartelera de Netflix. Muchos piensan que cuando las peliculas ocupan los últimos puestos en una cartelera es porque ha sido vista con frecuencia pero ya no tanto, mientras otros piensan que son las menos vista.

Suelo ver los films que ocupan los primeros lugares porque mi percepción es que son las mejores. Sin embargo, Emergencia en el aire llamó mi atención y por tal motivo decidí verla.

Emergencia en el aire es una película coreana estrenada en 2022. Según pude leer, éste film gana la atención de la audiencia y caló en gran medida. Es decir, fue exitosa.

Les cuento algo, para mí no fue una película que causó sensación. Mi impresión posiblemente se deba al tema. Son muchas las películas argumentando este tipo de contenido y particularmente pienso que está trillado.

Ya desde el inicio hice inferencias y anticipación acertada por este motivo siento que fui perdiendo motivación. Sumado a toda esta experiencia, creo que la reciente situación vivida con el Covid-19, también fue la excusa para mi pre-disposición. Aún así, vi la película hasta el final.

Cuando vi el post principal de la película pensé que se trataba de un siniestro en el aire. No leí el prólogo para no contaminarme, de haberlo hecho y haber sabido que se trataba de un virus, les aseguro que no la hubiese visto.

Ahora bien, el hecho de que no me haya gustado no quiere decir que sea una mala película. No pienso eso. Es una película bien estructurada y los personajes son de alto nivel. El suspenso se apodera del espectador en algunos momentos. Sobre todo, cuando está una niña en medio del drama.

Es curioso, en estos contenidos no varían las características de la trama, siempre está presente un loco terrorista, un superhéroe con habilidades para manipular cualquier aparato, en este caso el avión, siempre hay un médico a bordo y personas que fácilmente pueden dar respuesta a una situación de emergencia.

Insisto, son cosas que en lo personal me decepcionan cuando veo una película porque todo gira alrededor de esta situación.

En Emergencia en el aire un resentido científico crea un virus y decide incrustarlo en una parte de su cuerpo para activarlo en un avión comercial. El hombre amargado, furioso y frustrado decide tomar cualquier vuelo con la mayor cantidad de pasajeros para llevar a cabo su misión.

La macabra idea del científico fue difundida a través de una red social y madre adelante es descubierto por una niña. A ella le advierte el terrorista que morirán todos en el avión. La niña cuenta la historia a su padre y éste a su vez informa a las autoridades cuando logra asociar al hombre de la red con su compañero de viaje pero nadie le cree.

El terrorista no tarda en esparcir el virus dentro del avión y desde allí comienza todo el drama y la desesperación de los tripulantes y autoridades coreanas.

El final es lo verdaderamente dramático. Se me salieron las lágrimas cuando los tripulantes deciden no aterrizar el avión para no contagiar a sus familiares. Cada pasajero a través de una video llamada se despiden de sus familiares, piden perdón, recuerdan momentos, dan gracias... es muy fuerte la despedida.

En ese momento final se resolvieron los recuerdos en mí. La tristeza se hizo presente.

A esta película le doy 5 🌟, no es mala pero no está dentro de mis favoritas.
