What is an Alchemist they said
Lead into gold i reply. A retort is received;
"but it is also about the mind this wise person said";
at which i respond, There is more than one meaning in every truth. Lead represents this mortal clay of the human shell while Gold, the precious element is unchangeable, it is the purest of metals, something that we can aspire to become
We can achieve this in ourselves and it is the most purest of life goals; If we heal ourselves we heal the world; Life is but a dream in this infinite world. As above so below; As within so without; what we are we get, what we know we become, what we put out we receive in abundance.
It is said that in physical form the alchemist would use a speck of gold with the lead to physically turn the lead into gold. this works on the physical plane while building a ritualistic approach which would act on the subconscious mind to facilitate change in the self. It possibly signifies that changing one self may require actual change before change is fully realized, a certain spark to enlight a fire, a moment of clarity or sudden urge to be something more.
Alchemy is many things but the most important ingredient is the fire; symbolically the transmuting element of action. Complete Doing in its finest form. Knowing is one thing, but taking action is another entirely and it requires a well trained mind to muster the will or the air element. Fires need air to burn.
