I don't remember how or when I got this way but I find my self becoming more emotional than I ever thought I'd be. In the middle of the night, when the world seems to be asleep and the bats no longer want to play, I hear sounds from the other side, cajoling me to move over. I don't know why but they call out to me.

I think it was back in highschool; we just got done with our midterm papers and were due a couple days off. We got that but for the young Paul Asumah, it was to be his final midterm. This event really affected me and every now and then, I imagine how or what he would have been if the cruel hands of death didn't take him from us.

Ever since that event, I harboured thoughts of the other side. Curiosity had me in it's grip lock and I tapped out. The questions I have about the "eternal journey", the final sleep or the other side. It doesn't matter what you call it because it is what it is. and as Drake said:

...when you make it to the end, you'll find out then.
