For the first time in a couple of weeks, the price of GLX has moved in the positive direction. After weeks of my portfolio's dollar value hovering around the $600 range, I'm now close to $900 and I have to say, it feels like quite the victory, even though it is very small in the grand scheme of things.
At just 1.5 cents per GLX token, my portfolio value jumped significantly in value from what it was valued only this morning to what it is now. In fact, technically speaking, I have actually made a tiny amount of profit since this morning and that's all down to my decision to dollar cost average through the slump.
Make no mistake, I still think GLX token is in a slump and only from upwards of 10 cents will I actually start being seriously optimistic about the price. However, it must be said that I'm totally confident about the potential of the project as a whole and I intend to stake throughout the drought.
Prior to this publication, I talked about continuously increasing my GLX stake as the bear market goes through the gears. The crypto market as a whole is suffering from a variety of factors and it really feels like GLX is feeling the worse of it.
In any case, my plans remain unchanged and only something monumental lke GLX pumping to 10 cents could derail my plan. A pump like that is going to be too hard to ignore and I will certainly take profit that will be reinvested into Hive or my relocation plans, depending on what time of the year it happens.
GLX will pump again
I know I have said it a lot of times but sometimes I see people talking about the Genesis League Sports project with some level of underwhelming vigour. It kind of makes me feel like they don't know about the team behind the project.
Splinterlands project is one of the most successful blockchain projects in the history of the crypto industry and it is not just about the money. Yes, the play to earn scene is still evolving and there's still a lot to come but over the years, Splinterlands has exhibited a high level of consistency and given investors reason to trust the project.
So, when Splinterlands decided to embark on another gaming project that will bring value to the Hive ecosystem, investors didn't really need that much convincing. This is why, despite the slump in price, most of us are still quite confident about the prospects of genesis league sports.
Once the soccer game titled Genesis League Goals goes live, GLX token will almost certainly get a use-case that should have a positive effect on the price of the token. The subsequent development of more sports-themed games in the Genesis league sports platform will dilute the supply of GLX token, making it more scarce and inevitably pumping the price of the token. The question is, will you be around when the good times come around?
