Yesterday, I got a text from my friend asking about how rich I am now that the crypto market is popping. After what has felt like an eternity seeing reds in the market, it is very refreshing to see that there's been some positive movement in the market.
Anyway, I had to share the somewhat bad news that I liquidated most of my assets, so I'm not necessary getting rich during this bull run. He was gutted but at the same time, hopeful because I'm in a position to slowly buy them back.
It is a sort of disappointing that I'll not be getting rich from the pump. Especially after having to tarty for so long in the wilderness.
The thing is, I understand the crypto market to an extent and I know that this is not the last bus. There will be other opportunities to buy but I'll simply have to be patient.
At the moment, I'm far from being able to afford crypto. All my resources are geared towards survival and right now is not exactly the period I'd buy, even if I could.
In times of volatility or "pumpatility", I avoid interacting with the market. So, while there's a pump, I won't let FOMO guide my trigger finger.
There's been a lot of focus on Bitcoin and Ethereum but not so much on Hive and alts that are below the top 100. It is astonishing, to say the least, that despite the intrinsic and functional value that Hive offers, it is still so far down but that's just how the crypto game goes.
Looking at the numbers though, it is hard to tell how high Hive could actually go in the market. Based on the comments in my previous post, it is safe to say that there's mixed feelings about how high we'll see the asset.
Some believe we'll get our regular $1 range especially with whales dumping a huge load on the market while there are other optimists like myself included who hope for a collosal jump in value and hopefully ranking in crypto market capitalization.
Right now, there's still not been any major move that we haven't seen before but I believe that as the buildup continues, we'll start seeing considerable movement in the market. I reckon our friends in Korea will be taking action, despite the crypto regulations taking effect later this year. Time will tell.
