I woke up to a pleasant surprise from the
The gift was in honour of Leo Power Up Day and while that is awesome on its own, I consider it a massive gesture that will improve the Hive activities of all curators.
In case you're not aware, LPUD is an event that holds on the 15th of every month. Staking Leo at any time is highly encouraged but this particular day is set aside to celebrate all the awesome community members that are staking Leo.
This month's LPUD offers a host of rewards that includes Leo Power delegation and two tickets to Hive Fest that starts on my birthday, September 15th. I'll be participating in every single LPUD henceforth, hoping to win the delegation but generally just staking Leo to improve my curation activities.
In the spirit of LPUD
Even though Hodl community has already staked 1K Leo on my behalf, I still intend to participate in LPUD by staking Leo across all my accounts.
The LPUD groove has my entire household in a chokehold because it got my wife
So as a household, we're growing our Leo collection together and preparing for what I reckon will be a glorious future. I wonder if this counts as an entry for bring your fam to Leo day later in the month.
Happy LPUD my frens
So happy LPUD to everyone that will be participating in LPUD, regardless of how many Leo you stake, I want you to know you're already a winner.
LPUD is about staking Leo but as Hodl community teaches us, it is also a great day to share Leo around the community and get more people staking the token. The more, the merrier, so lets encourage each other to participate in this movement.
If you have some spare Leo that you can share after staking enough to participate in LPUD, look out for others in the community that could be interested and contribute. Remember that while winning the delegation from LPUD is beneficial to you, the project as a whole is beneficial to the community and it is a behaviour we must encourage.
So besides the official delegation reward, let's bring more people to Leo by helping them participate in LPUD. It ain't much but it's honest work that will boost the image and value of Leofinance in the long run.
