I'm usually a beer man and if you look a little bit to the side of the picture, you would see my giant glass of Stella Artois. However, we still enjoyed a huge mug of Sex on the beach.
I don't know about other pubs but what I learnt today is that if you see "pitcher" of anything on the menu of Wetherspoon in Bulwell, they really mean it. It was a huge mug capable of serving four and I am pleased to say that I held my ground quite well as I finished it with my wife.
One thing that I did learn today was that you can't take alcohol out of the pub. All drinks must be consumed within because of regulations and whatnot.
Going to the pub wasn't really the plan for today but all the same, it was nice to just take a break from life. The drinks were cold, the pub was warm and life never felt better as I sat across my pretty wife.
Speaking of my wife, she said the sex on the beach isn't quite as tasty as the version in Nigeria. Something about lime being more modest in this one here versus the one in Nigeria.
What I would say is that sex on the beach packs quite a punch and chugging it down fast only adds extra force to the hit. If you ever encounter the drink, take it slowly but that's easier said than done when you consider how sweet it actually is.
