I think orders not executed might be due to low liquidity and also because the Hive-Engine doesn't display the amounts with full precision so 50 HIVE can also mean 49.999 or so and others got executed before you. This is happening to me when I try to exchange something, I put the order based on the given price and the order remains open due to rounding. That would be my guess..
