The article was my own vision of things and a lot can be improved from here if this would be implemented. For each badge there needs to be an interval and for Rookies it can be form 0$ until a specific threshold - $5 in this case. And for the upper levels while at the moment there are few I think that as the ecosystem continues to develop there will be more.
