Thanks for publishing this, and at line-item granularity. That's more than most teams would do, and it actually settles a lot, so credit where it's due.

The infra optimisation I was pushing, R2, caching, SSR, was aimed at the Compute/Servers line, and that's about 2,064 a month, the smallest of your three big buckets and already on Hetzner dedicated rather than cloud. There's no real fat to cut there. Your infra is lean for what it runs.

Where the money actually is: Development at 3,300 and Admin/Accounting at 2,500. The Admin/Accounting line is the one that stands out, because at roughly 28 percent of spend it's larger than your entire server footprint. The admin/accounting side isn't an area I'm particularly knowledgeable in. I work with people with accounting backgrounds and I have no idea what they're on about most of the time, it's a whole different world.

Development funding is the real values call, and a defensible one. Paying people to maintain open source Hive infra is fair. But it's also the line that most needs a path to not leaning on the DHF forever, which loops back to the revenue work you listed.

The monetisation factor is hard because Hive has dwindling active user numbers, crypto is back in the gutter again, the Middle East conflict stuff is causing chaos for economies. I don't think anyone has a solution for the mess Hive and the world is in.
