THGaming 21 March 2022 Brawl Report

In this post, I will present the main highlights of our 2 top guilds. I am also bringing great battles of our best brawlers. Hope you enjoy it!

THGaming Brawlers

Our top guild is on fire again, winning their last brawl again. They are in the top 150 guilds right now (place 130th). This guild was formed by the THGaming Splinterlands community most competitive players like @dynamicrypto @serge100 @jim-crypto @denboxieval29 @sexychic @neophyte142068 bring outstanding results brawl by brawl and their hard work is rewarded with 1,7k merits per battle (that's almost a gladius case!)

One aspect that's very important in the brawls is to fill every single fray that is open. The points that are won in these tiles used to be crucial to getting the final victory. In this aspect, our founder

@jim-crypto is a boss covering gold tiles (giving even more value to gold foil NFTs). In the battle I share with you, our mate took more advantage of the Opportunity Battle condition (love that Nightmare attacking rear lines!) Hope you enjoy it!

One of the advantages of writing brawls is that you receive a lot of information from great players that do great performances. In this example

@denboxieval29 built a perfect composition, taunting all the damage with Mycielic, back Healing with Spirit Hoarder, and giving enough time to Quora to snowball. The Opponent chose to take all the aggro in the front, which meant less efficiency. Enjoy!

@sexychic. He chose Dragon with Life summoner for the taunting of the Shieldbearer. Could build a very strong double tank composition with Robo-Dragon and Carnage, and allowed me to present a new great card from Gladius. Captain Katie. 3 Magic with Sniping. An absolute bloodbath if not controlled!

@serge100 brings another example of how to build a snowball. In my opinion, green summoners have two creatures in the Gladius set that rule the battlefield: Katrelba Gibson and Quora Towershead. Both creatures can double strike if well placed (katrelba double damage from sneak, Quora has a melee and magic damage. This factor enables them to activate bloodlust ability once or twice per battle. But there's a big difference between them. She has healed. With this set of abilities, she usually rolls the battlefield.

If one match represents where I want to be in the next few months, it's this example from

@neophyte142068 . I've watched the match several times and the more I watch, the more I like it. Things went serious from the beginning (LVL 4 Thaddius mirror match with the battle condition that ranged attackers could be shot in the first position). Take a look at how Ooze was placed to take the first sniper shot, and the chaos agent covering sneakers. All to ease Damon another snowball.

Although we improved our performance, we are quite far from where we want to be. We've received some reinforcements to improve this 4th place. Here are a couple of great battles.

In this example, my guildmate

@lasthera gives a master class on how to beat llama and quora. He understood much better than his opponent the battle conditions (Equal Life) and built a backline covering with Mylor that brought his team to victory. Even Quora's rival with the last stand couldn't manage my mate's outstanding performance. Enjoy!

Finally, I will bring a successful Quora hunt (don't have quora yet!) I was lucky that I chose Magic buff and my opponent chose a Mylor which resulted in much less efficiency. I planned to divide the damage between Mycelic infantry in the front and Mycelic Slispawn in the back. Don't know how things would have ended if my opponent had chosen Obsidian but that's not my fault! I took happily the victory for my team! Hope you enjoy it!
