Hypocrisy. Somewhere those statements would be labeled or censored as unverified/fake; many people read only headlines of news so basically those are tweets :) but we all know that warning about headlines like this not gonna happen.
People are sick and tired of being afraid so provoking more fear might not be the best strategy for preventing spreading the virus; might even provoke more social turbulence...
