Yes, I know, it will never happen 😅

Unfortunately, tend to agree with this; if it happens think will not be during our lives.
edje@edje You both mentioned supply-demand rate, which i also agree, just see it more complicated, like vicious circle. Which is first, demand or supply?
Need for consuming certain form of art and "art" is also being formed like with any other product. You offer something to people, make a hype of it, produce, say heey ppl want this, produce more and so on. On the other hand, personality factors are important. If people want cheap and fast fun, then you have your audience; and they do, humans want as much as possible to avoid using brain activities so something that most people can identify easily have more chance for success.
Education for culture and art is needed in order to rise number of people who will engage in complex art.
Looking back not so far in the past, aristocrats were all engaged in classical music and dancing even if many did not understand. Mozart was some kind of rock star :D but will leave to mipiano@mipiano to explain that better :) That brings us back to the beginning, need for certain cultural and art form is shaped by those who have means to do that and that is maid in the way to serve certain purposes for both sides - creators and consumers. Why else so many people are watching, for example, reality shows while talking how awful they are?
