Ich als Imker habe das Ziel, gesunde und vitale Bienenvölker zu haben. Ist dies der Fall, läuft die Imkerei fast von selbst. Es gibt 2-3 wichtige Regeln, auf die der Imker achten sollte:
Achte auf junge Königinnen. Eine Königin kann bis zu 4-5 Jahre alt werden. Aber nach dem 2 Lebensjahr legt die Königin nicht mehr ausreichend Eier, um ein Wirtschaftsvolk mit genügend jungen Bienen zu bestücken.
Wechsle alte Brutwaben aus. Dies dient zur Prophylaxe, um Krankheiten im Stock zu verhindern. Krankheiten schwächsten das Volk was wiederum schlecht, für die Vitalität und natürlich der Gesundheit, ist.
Behandle die Bienen im Spätsommer auf Varroa. Die Geisel der Bienen ist die Brutkrankheit Varroose. Wer als Imker dies vernachlässigt, wird das Volk verlieren.

My goal as a beekeeper is to have healthy and vital bee colonies. If this is the case, beekeeping almost runs itself. There are 2-3 important rules that the beekeeper should pay attention to:
Watch out for young queens. A queen can live up to 4-5 years. But after the age of 2, the queen no longer lays enough eggs to stock a commercial colony with enough young bees.
Replace old brood combs. This is a prophylactic measure to prevent diseases in the hive. Diseases weaken the colony which is bad for the vitality and of course the health.
Treat the bees in late summer for varroa. The hostage of the bees is the brood disease varroosis. If you neglect this as a beekeeper, you will lose the colony.
