KWS Vet and Capture team recently executed a successful mass capture operation, relocating a diverse group of animals, including 6 giraffes, 5 waterbucks from Mogwonii Ranch, 11 hartebeests, 13 impalas, 5 Grant gazelles, and 16 Thompson's gazelles from Olpejeta Conservancy, Laikipia County.

Giraffes, waterbucks, and hartebeests were skillfully immobilized using a combination of vehicle and helicopter darting, while the other species were gently trapped in a mass capture boma and further subdued using nets.

All the animals were safely conveyed, in loading crates via a canter lorry and remained calm during transport to their new home at Tundra Conservancy.
