I remember back when that national debt clock didn't even have a 10's section in the trillion category and people were already alarmed. These days I think people just accept the fact that the government spends much more than it makes and that isn't a good thing at all. We keep electing people that promise everything without even mentioning how it will be paid for and in my mind, that is kind of important. If only I was allowed to live my own life in the same way!
