Your story about the Marine Corps LINE Drill reminded me of another sort of martial art someone I know took and I believe it was called Kraf Maga or something close to that. My friend would tell me that there is zero honor in this sport and it is all about killing or being killed, like how to attack the groin best, eye gouge, fish-hook, and how to get stabbed in the best way possible. That seemed really hardcore but I never went.
