ACE had that look of small-town and I think they had it a bit better than most places because I believe they generally were owned by small groups rather than being a massive corporation, but you are not wrong. ACE was a nationwide thing but I bet they kind of let you have a bit of autonomy if you owned one. The ones i went into the owner generally worked there all the time. Who the hell owns Lowes?
