I doubt in many situations that votes are even counted. I use an example of when Ron Paul was in the primaries years ago. In my county Ron Paul signs were everywhere, if you were to drive through New Bern during that time one would assume that this place was nearly 90% behind the guy. There were very few signs for any other candidate. When we went to vote on the day of the primary the people in line were chanting "Ron Paul, Ron Paul" to the point where election officials had to come outside and warn us that campaigning within 100 meters of the building is against the law. There was so much excitement for this new and different kind of candidate.
When the results were published the next day or so, Paul had received just 2% of the overall vote. If he hadn't won I would believe there were a ton of Romney sleeper cells or something but 2%???? That was just insane. that was the moment that I started to feel like voting is rigged, Trump or not. I think the winner is pre-determined and the rest of it is just a show to keep the peasantry busy arguing with one another.
