Ellie had to get up earlier yesterday to see what was up with Kami. The latter is helping to walk a dog while the owners are on vacation. In the meantime, I wrote my post for the Saturday Selections and then hang out quite lazily.
In the afternoon, we went to a party of friends of ours. Ellie looked gorgeous as always, but of course she had to choose high heels, even though she knew it was around 1km if walking to the party, over sand roads. But we made it.
An old friend of mine had the same shirt as I. Ellie had recommended and sold it to him (she works at the company that produces them), and was very proud of that. But imagine if someone else would've worn the same dress as her...
The party was great. Those two dogs were old playmates of Raya, my old do, when my friends were sitting her as I didn't have space. So cool to see them, too.
After the party, we went to a friend's place who had invited us to do mushrooms. Ellie didn't try, but I did. It was a very interesting experience that I will probably write separately about.
It was fun when we were in the group, but the really interesting part came when we were home, Ellie asleep, and I by myself and my thoughts and feelings.
