Judwaa (English : Twins) is a 1997 Indian Hindi action comedy film, directed by David Dhawan, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, and starring Salman Khan in a double role opposite Karisma Kapoor and Rambha. Released on 7 February 1997, the film was successful at the box office. The film was a remake of the Telugu film Hello Brother (1994), which in turn was loosely based on the Hong Kong action film Twin Dragons (1992) starring Jackie Chan. Judwaa was the first collaboration between David Dhawan and Salman Khan.
