As I was thinking of what I wanted to post for my first submission, it occurred to me that I should post something that I'm passionate about. So here it is: traveling! Right before school started back up again, a group of my friends and I headed for Iceland. We were there for a week and half, backpacking, camping, hiking, and swimming. The video doesn't do it justice, but I hope it gives you a little taste for what it was like.
I was humbled by this trip, and am grateful for the lasting impression it had on me. I hope to post more about the volcanoes, black sand beaches, and glaciers, if you guys are interested.
It's funny what you can learn just by going off the grid for a few days, especially in one of the most beautiful places in the world!
