Hello dear friends on hive, how are y'all doing today? Hope great.. welcome to my blog.
Today I am elated to share this experience with you all. It might not mean much to most people but it means much to me.
I am just a few months shy of clocking one year on hive. Initially I did not believe in hive or it's concept, I also was not fully aware of web3 or it's benefits.
Let's just say I am a cautious cat or a doubting Thomas. I would not believe it until I see it happen for myself and I hardly take risks.
I have joined some platforms that promised some financial benefits in return for content creation but after getting aboard, I was left devastated as the promise of benefits was a sham and they even asked for money from me in return.
I had no choice but to leave such platforms or ignore it's existence totally.
After getting onboard hive, I began to see posts of several hiveans about power up on power up day. I would just read and comment on some of these posts but still I was not clear on the matter because most of these posts were on celebration and not on teaching newbies.
It was only a few months ago that I got to know about power up day properly. I had formed some good relationships with some members here on the block chain and this led me to enquiring about it.
It was interesting to me to know about the benefits and this propelled me to join the power up before the year runs out. It was easier said than done cos I had phone issues for several months which made me not to be consistent on the block chain.
Today I powered up for the first time with 10 hive and my hp got a boost.

I am happy with this baby step because it shows that I am gradually leaving my shell and have become a believer in the block chain while aiming to achieving more goals in hive.
Thanks to all my loving friends who have helped me thus far on this journey, no tags necessary cos y'all got me...right? Hehe
