Mein Reise Blog - Tauchen auf Mallorca // My Travel Blog - Diving in Mallorca (DEU/ENG)
Hallo liebe Community

LG

Hello dear community
During my post family vacation in Mallorca 2015, I did a dive training in the hotel pool with my family on the last day.
After that, Leon asked us directly if we could go diving in the ocean as well. Unfortunately, we could not fulfill him this wish in that vacation. Our time on the island was almost over and we had to fly back. But we quickly decided to make it possible for him 2 years later. So we flew back to Sa Coma to the same hotel to spend another week there.
Today I'll tell you how we made good on our promises. After we booked the trip, I booked the dive directly from Germany on the 2nd day so he wouldn't have to wait any longer for it.
In the morning we drove to Porto Cristo, where the organizer of the dive course was based. When we arrived there, we had a theoretical crash course before we all got our equipment. After that we loaded the bus and were taken to the boat towards the harbor. The trip to the bay took about 10 minutes. Once in the bay, we all put our equipment in the boat and headed to Varques Bay.
There we had to go through a little theoretical briefing before we were finally allowed into the water. The dive lasted a total of 45 minutes, which we used completely. I was glad we did it. Leon just beamed and was totally excited. He was also lucky enough to be the youngest participant, so the tour guide was by his side for the entire dive. This had the advantage for both of us that we could get further away from the boat since we stayed close to the guide most of the time. Before the tour, everyone had the option of buying a disposable underwater camera and taking their own photos or buying the photos that the operator offered after the tour. We opted for the disposable underwater camera. Since I wanted to take my own photos because I wanted to take photos not only of us but also of the underwater world. The 45 minutes flew by and we had to swim back to the boat. After taking off the equipment, we drove back to Porto Cristo. From there we took a cab back to the hotel and enjoyed the rest of the day at the hotel pool.
I hope you enjoyed this article and that I could take you on my little journey.
