What a tragic course of events and my deepest sympathy of your loss.

I like to think well of those I have lost, not focus on the loss itself, but on who they were as people and what they meant for me. Of course I feel some regret and not having said this or done that when they were here but time cannot be replayed and so I push that aside with fond memories of the good times.
