Several days ago I was fortunate to receive a vase of flowers from my man. He told me they were for nothing, a just because kind of offering, and I was happy to hear it; we don't need an excuse to be nice to each other and it's thoughts expressed in small ways, a word or gesture, touch, kiss or embrace and sometimes a small gift given randomly that means much more than celebrating specific days just because they're "supposed to be special."
I believe every day of life to be special and that I get to spend mine with a person I value, respect and desire is certainly something to be celebrated often.
A day or so after I received these flowers I decided to take some photos, using my guy's camera which I have been using more and more lately. I have found I enjoy taking photos and my boy is encouraging it. I'm angling at getting my own camera one of these days, dropping a few hints here and there for him, and I think it's working; but for now I must use his. (What's his is really mine anyway right?)

These flowers brought me great pleasure and I love that I got them for nothing, just because. I also managed to get additional enjoyment from taking some photos and sharing them.
