I grew up in a very small space, you can imagine six in a family living is just two rooms, so then my mom will always want everything to stay intact so even if we have visitors, we can allow the person in despite our little space.
Everything from the kitchen utensils to our clothes has a position where they are kept, and when you fail to keep them where they should be, my mom will correct you with a sound slap, so I grew up with that ability to put things in place.
When I left home, I also got a small space, so what I have learned from home helped me to always keep my little home clean and comfortable for visitors.
Currently, I am also living in a small space, so I always make sure that I put things in order.
Also, I dislike it when I can't find something I need to use, so everything in my house has a space where I can easily access it.
My kitchen
Starting with my kitchen, my kitchen space is very small, so I have to get a shelf where I keep plates after washing, I place them in a little bucket to drain out the water before I keep them where they should be.
Food storage.
I store both cooked and uncooked food in my freezer, so I have different containers where I pack them all before putting them in the freezer. Some uncooked foodstuffs like rice, beans, dried fish, crayfish and prawns.
My clothes and undies.
I have a wardrobe where I organize my clothes, I arrange them accordingly, my work clothes have its own space, my bags have its own space, my undies have its own space likewise my service clothes are house wears, this makes it very easy for me when I want to go out, I won't struggle with where to get what I need to wear.
Makeups And Pegs
I have a makeup bag where I keep whatever I use for makeup, my powders, brush, lipstick, and anything I need for makeup.
I have pegs for my laundry so I also keep them in a little purse where it will be very easy to get whenever I do my laundry.
My Toiletries
I have a little shelf where I arrange my body oil, and deodorant, and all other toiletries, same place you will find my hair oil and hair lotions.
When you keep everything in its place the house will have enough ventilation, it won't be stuffy and you can accept visitors at any time of the day.
That's the simple way I manage my space.
