Yesterday I recorded another successful workshop, onboarding three new users, and I have more people to onboard soon. Let's go into the details of how I achieved this.
Hive and #spendhbd project has to grow, the invitation is no more come shop and earn rather it's now Shop to earn, earn as you learn, the goal is to bring more young people, new people who will engage and remain active on Hive.
Based on the goal, more work is required, and I am out to search for people wherever I can find them.
Yesterday morning, I embarked on a two-hour journey to a different part of Lagos state, where I hosted not just a workshop, but also onboarded three people and trained them to be active on Hive.
I created more awareness by branding the environment with my printed hive banner and spendhbd banner, which attracted passerby to ask questions.
We even had a white man who also came to market his business in ellisa mart my presentation on hive cut his attention, he commended us and took a picture with us.
Before onboarding these new users, I took some time to explain to them what Hive is all about.
Hive is a decentralized space, Hive is not a get-rich-quick scheme, so it requires much time and resources to build yourself up and enjoy your stay.

They created their first waves, and they learned how to add pictures to their waves, how to respond to other people's engagement on their content.

We need more women in the blockchain space, and a day of training might not really yield results that will help these newbies to remain active, next week on Monday there will be another workshop, hopefully, we will onboard more users and also have training with these newbies, gradually they will grow to become active members of Hive and regular shoppers with HBD.
