Another successful spendhbd workshop and listing in Lagos State
I have been waiting for today to come because it gives me joy to let more people come to know about hive and also make use of it.
Finally today came and I quickly moved to arrange the venue, arrange for sits and some drinking water, which they all appreciated.
It was another beautiful day for People in Surulere Lagos state. Seven new users joined hive and they learned new things, and they are so happy about it.
Today's workshop was for a different location and new people who are interested to know more about Hive and to add value to the platform, I also explained on a larger scale what spendhbd project is all about which is the major cause why we are gathering, the scanning code and how transactions can be done, also how they can swap their crypto to hive dollar for shopping for those who already had a crypto wallet.
We took some hours to discuss what hive is all about, then we went to the next step which was signing them up and downloading hive keychain wallet.
Then we moved into an explanation of what the downloaded keys are made for and how they can be secured; after the discussion, they were excited.

From the video we can see how happy they were because is something very interesting to them to know that you don't just shop but you generate income as you are shopping.
Challenges.
Listing the shop at first was a bit challenging due to poor network.
Some transactions were not able to claim their discount, the network was very poor and this caused a lot of time and delay, despite that they were all happy because we are shopping next week Saturday so more income to come.
But i don't really know if those who couldn't claim will be able to claim their discount later.
The amazing part was the aspect where pictures of the products were taken to generate receipts and immediately it turns to a content in their hive blog, it was really fun and amazing to them

Before today I have successfully signed up two users 
One good thing I love about hosting a workshop is the fact that it attracts audience, it helps to create awareness about hive and spend hbd project, because as we are gathered, people passing will always want to know what is going on, and that's a good opportunity to tell more people about the hive and spend hbd project.
It was a good experience, as we were shopping, more people came inquiring what spendhbd is all about, and I gave a breakdown which they were satisfied with, they will sign up soon and join the spend hbd project.
Yes, Lagos is a bit complex because shops find it difficult to be a little bit patient for transactions to be done, but the shoppers are interested in the project and many more about the hive.
I also met with the supervisor of the mart, who advised me to meet the general manager for Bokku-mart in every part of Lagos to be listed, and I am working towards achieving that.
