Welcome to my blog once more, this topic is a very interesting topic because adulthood is not an easy stage of one's life especially for who we are not born with golden's spoon.

What is Adulthood?

Adulthood falls in from the age of 18-35 or more and that is when you will have to start living your life with all seriousness to make a better future for both yourself and the family you are about to build.

A Nigerian singer known as Lade sang a song that shows what adulthood is all about.
The title of the music is Adulthood na scam which also means Adulthood is a fraud.

The part of Adulthood that is very difficult for me.

What makes you an Adult is the fact that you are now independent and this is the most difficult part of Adulthood to me, when i left home and started all alone it was hectic but unfortunately i can't go back home anymore because am now an Adult.

Taking responsibility has been another hardest part of adulthood for me because before adulthood no one holds me responsible for any reason but unfortunately as i turn to an adult i have to scale all my decisions because any little mistakes i will personally face the consequences.
The fact that immediately i turned an adult no one cares for me anymore, i even started caring other people while no one cares about me, immediately i complain the next word i will hear is "You are an adult" this makes me feel so bad.

Immediately i became an adult everyone judges me by what i do, my parents believes i should do this or that, unfortunately am the first daughter of my family so my responsibility as the first child is as huge as the mountains, I will always ask "Why did i even become an adult" because adulthood is chocking.

The challenges i face as an adult.

I always find it challenging when i try so hard to be a good example to my younger ones and others who are seriously looking upto me.
Financial discipline has also been very challenging to me since i became an adult, unfortunately am in my late 30's but am still struggling when it comes to financial discipline.

Taking care of myself has been the most difficult challenge i face as an adult, single handedly making wise decision is another challenge that has disturbed me so much.

I started paying for house rent since 2011 till date, every year i work so hard to save money for my house rent, every other things have to wait till my house rent is completed.
Like the lyrics of that music, no body asks if i need assistance and no one is sending me a dine, honestly it has really been challenging.

Making the choice of a marriage partner is also another challenging part of my adulthood, infact i end up making some mistakes on that.
