Palácio do Catete is a historic building located in the city of Rio de Janeiro, being an example of Brazilian neoclassical architecture from the end of the 19th century. The palace was the scene of several important episodes in the history of Brazil, such as the suicide of Getúlio Vargas, and currently houses the Museum of the Republic.
