Interesting piece, I actually was a victim of relationship trauma but later realized in life that you can be with the wrong person and even strike a relationship deal but the moment compactibility and trust isn't there, cheating evades the relationship environment.
Am quite sure someday she will find a better man for herself. Not getting married or even date isn't the right decision but will either get her into something worse. All I will advice for her like you said is to move on with life, let her do what will give her joy and she will see her perfect man whom I believe is also looking for her too.
