In a nut shell: yes of course is AI endangering the jobs that are done by people up to now. At the moment its mainly the "better jobs", jobs that dont need much physical effort - so the jobs everybody is trying to get so far.
But in conjuction with the recently developed humanoid robots, AI is entering a whole new dimension of threat to the traditional structure of work. Now we are on track to a society where NOBODY needs to work, neither intelectually nor physically. That will bring all new challenges to the society structure: how do people get payed? How will they feel if they are basically useless? And sure some more issues we dont even know yet. However, at least we die in paradise...
