Yes, fascinating indeed. Amazing to see even hot places underground, where the ground is not yet ruptured. And did you notice the old lava fields in the background? They are at least 1 year old but still hot. The lava there is 100 ft or even more deep. It will take decades to cool off completly.
And the guy was lucky not to loose his drone when it landed in emergency mode. I doubt it knows the difference between normal ground and liquid lava...
